Rich Rodríguez-Mahé is the founder of Atomos and a classically-trained Fractional CMO with nearly two decades of impactful experience at PepsiCo and Frito-Lay, Rich specializes in optimizing product-market fit and marketing strategies for Food and Beverage companies.
Having worked on brands from $1 million in retail sales to a portfolio of better-for-you brands with sales of $1 billion, Rich thrives in the intersection of innovation and high-growth.
At Frito Lay North America, Rich led the successful relaunch of Sunchips and revamped Smartfood Popcorn, driving substantial sales growth and enhancing brand visibility. His strategic retail plans boosted Frito-Lay's better-for-you brands by 9% in just one year. Rich has collaborated on high-impact campaigns with global icons like Lionel Messi, David Beckham, and Peyton Manning, showcasing his brand-building expertise.
Rich also helped pioneer a groundbreaking PepsiCo-backed venture in the direct-to-consumer space, making it the company's largest business in that sector. His innovative solutions gave way to Gatorade's Gx pods, demonstrating his ability to drive lasting impact.
With experience expanding brands globally and fluency in Spanish and French, Rich is a proud Cuban-American based in Miami, FL. He holds an MBA from Rollins College and a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Miami.
